At the hilltop, we’ll gather inside a cozy private kota around a crackling campfire. As your guide prepares traditional Finnish crêpes (muurinpohjalettu) over the open flame, step outside to stargaze and wait for the magic of the Northern Lights to unfold.

    Show up at your resort transfer meeting point 10 min prior to the scheduled start. Regrettably, we cannot wait if you are late for the departure. 

    What to Bring

    • The snowshoes provided with your stay at Halo Igloos

    • Layered, warm winter clothing 

    • Winter mittens, knit hat and scarf covering hands, head and neck 

    • Warm boots and socks suitable for cold weather

    Special Requirements

    • Children must be properly bundled up for winter conditions and accompanied by an adult at all times

    • Please note that there are no toilet facilities available at the wilderness camp

    Restrictions

    • Participation is not allowed under the influence of alcohol or drugs

    • Guests must follow the guide’s instructions at all times

    • Fire safety instructions must be followed around campfires and fireplaces

    • Guests must remain seated during snowmobile sleigh transportation unless instructed otherwise
