General Terms and Conditions of Halo Igloos

These terms govern accommodation bookings, payments, cancellations, and guest responsibilities during stays at Halo Igloos (“the Resort”). By confirming a reservation, you agree to comply with the following conditions.


Reservations and Confirmation 

Bookings can be made via our official website or through selected third-party channels. To confirm a booking, we require the following guest details:

 - Full names of all guests

 - Date of birth 

- Nationality

 - Contact details (phone number and email) 

- Arrival and departure dates and estimated arrival time

 - Valid payment method

A reservation is confirmed once full payment has been received and a booking confirmation with reference number has been issued. All reservations are subject to availability. Group bookings may be subject to additional terms. For such requests, please contact: sales@haloigloos.com.


Adults-Only Policy 

Halo Igloos is an adults-only resort. All guests must be at least 18 years of age at the time of check-in. We aim to provide a tranquil and intimate retreat experience.


Check-In & Check-Out 

Check-in: from 16:00 to 22:00 on the day of arrival. 

Check-out: from 8:00 to 11:00 on the day of departure.

Please notify us in advance if you expect to arrive later than 22:00. Valid identification must be presented at check-in. Only registered guests are allowed on the premises.


Minimum Stay Requirements 

Minimum stay is 1 night, except during the festive season: 20 Dec – 6 Jan: minimum 2 nights

Minimum stay terms may be updated without prior notice.


Payment Terms 

Reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking. We accept major credit and debit cards. Bank transfer is available for group bookings upon request. Halo Igloos reserves the right to verify credit card details upon arrival.


Cancellation and No-Show Policy 

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to sales@haloigloos.com. Refundability depends on the selected rate plan and booking season.

Non-refundable periods: 15 Dec – 2 Jan: no refunds under any circumstances.

Other periods: 

- Cancellations 90+ days prior to arrival: full refund - 60–89 days: 50% refund

 - Less than 60 days: no refund

For stays between 1 Aug – 9 Nov, cancellations are free up to 72h before arrival. Later cancellations or no-shows will incur full charges.


Travel Insurance 

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellations, delays, or other unexpected events. Halo Igloos does not offer refunds outside of the stated policy.


force Majeure 

Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to unforeseen events such as extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, or governmental actions. We reserve the right to cancel or modify bookings due to such events.


Guest Responsibility 

Guests are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly throughout their stay. Any damage caused to the property, furniture, or equipment will be charged to the guest.

Halo Igloos is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings. Guests are advised to safeguard their personal items.


Pet Policy 

Pets are not permitted by default. However, a small number of pet-friendly igloos may be available upon request. Contact us in advance to confirm availability. A cleaning fee may apply.


Complaints and Service Issues 

Please report any issues or service concerns to our reception team during your stay. We aim to resolve matters promptly when informed in real time.


Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes will be resolved at the District Court of Lapland, located in Rovaniemi.
