What to Expect from the Weather
Rovaniemi’s weather shifts with the seasons, from snowy, star-filled winters to bright, green summers.
The Aurora Borealis can be seen as early as late August, once the nights grow dark again. Winter officially begins in November and lasts through April, bringing crisp temperatures often below –15°C — ideal for snow-based adventures and northern lights experiences.
