Clear, cold nights with low humidity offer the best conditions and from inside your igloo, you have an unobstructed view of the sky without stepping out into the cold.

Temperatures typically range from -5°C to -25°C between November and March, with the coldest weeks usually falling in January and February. Snow cover is reliable from late November onwards. We provide guidance on what to pack, and thermal outerwear is available to borrow at the resort.

Yes, absolutely. Reindeer sleigh rides are one of the most popular winter activities near the resort. You can visit local reindeer farms, feed the animals, and learn about the centuries-old herding traditions of the Sámi people.

The winter season is full of unique activities. Husky safaris, snowmobile excursions, snowshoeing through silent forests, ice fishing, and aurora hunting are all available. For a slower pace, the resort sauna, kota dining by open fire, and long evenings under the glass ceiling of your igloo are reason enough to stay put.

We recommend arriving with at least two nights, one to settle in and find your rhythm, another to stay up late watching the sky.
