Absolutely! In fact, you have a very high chance of spotting wild reindeer roaming freely right around Halo Igloos Resort or along the nearby hiking trails. During the summer months, reindeer move around the forests and roadsides freely, making it a wonderful time for natural, unscripted wildlife encounters and photography.
Our on-site reindeer are on site for November to April, but there are also local reindeer farms you can visit in the summer.

In summer (June-August), you unfortunately cannot see the aurora because the midnight sun keeps the sky too bright. In autumn (August-October), seeing the aurora is very much possible as the dark nights return.
-
Staying in a glass igloo during summer offers a completely different, magical experience: sleeping under the midnight sun. The glass roof allows you to feel entirely immersed in the green forest and the golden arctic night light while enjoying premium comfort.
